Sequel to the underground cult-classic KanaBattle, KanaBattle 2 brings it full on. Get ready to engage yourself in Katakana and Hiragana as you have never seen before.
New Gameplay Modes!
Story Mode - Sinister emoji are invading the realm. You are the only hope! Use your knowledge of Katakana and Hiragana to vanquish the emoji and restore order to the universe. Level up collecting Health and Gold while improving your Attack and Defense. Visit the Castle to upgrade your abilities. Learn secret arts and earn full command of Japanese syllabary.
Arcade Mode - Go for the gold! Compete against the clock and collect as much gold as possible. Go for most consecutive correct in Endurance mode.
Tutorial Mode - Sit back and listen. Match symbols to sounds with a real native speaker. No synthetic text-to-speech allowed! Shuffle the symbols and test your own audio recall.
Mixed Mode - In addition to Kata (Katakana-Romaji), Hira (Hiragana-Romaji), and Versus (Katakana-Hiragana). Select new Mixed Mode in Settings for simultaneous Katakana-Hiragana-Romaji battle extravaganza.

How to play
Story Mode - Match Katakana and Hiragana symbols with their counterparts. This will summon your color energy. Use your color energy to defeat the emoji before you are overrun. Collect health and gold in order to power up. Be careful not to make incorrect answers!
Tips
Totally stuck? Shake your device and matching tiles will blink revealing your hint.
